Lagos - a town with a long history

Lagos is one of the oldest and most important towns in the Algarve, if not Portugal. It is full of historical significance and the setting of many new endeavours into the outside world, so what better place to start up a new business or continue an existing one?

Lagos is well known for its friendly and relaxed vibe and Centro is at its very heart making it an easy and pleasant place to work and have clients come to visit. Transport links with the rest of the Algarve are excellent with not only a bus and train station right on your doorstep but also a fabulous marina.

We spend around one third of our lives working, so why not do it in the best possible location!

Historical background

Lagos is an historical city, whose fame derives from its association with Portugal's 15th-century Age of Discovery, when Henry the Navigator had his ships built and victualled for voyages of into the unknown world.

Coffee culture

Lagos is a great place to work, but also to be and to enjoy life. Unlike other Algarvian resorts, Lagos has a large Portuguese resident population and a relaxed atmosphere with loads of terraced coffee shops to take a break and meet people.

Surrounded by beaches

Lagos has a coastline of great natural beauty, with ten beaches, from tiny coves to broad sands as well as the fantastically shaped headland of Ponta da Piedade.
